TIP: Our plane tickets were inexpensive but roundtrip from Barcelona. Save time (but not money), by flying into Madrid and out of Barcelona.

TIP: You can spend a whole afternoon at the Prado. As we had been there before on a previous trip, we stayed for just a couple hours.

TIP: This is a long day and some people may opt to just stay in Granada overnight. We prefer instead to stay in as few Air BnB's as possible as they become a home away from home while traveling.

TIP: Driving in the Basque countryside is easy. You can rent a car for Days 9 and 10 in Pamplona for a modest cost right at the train station. Remember to bring change for toll roads.
