Bordered by Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, and Hungary, Austria is about as central as you can get in Central Europe. For us, it made it a great launching point for our Central Europe vacation. In Austria, we visited three amazing cities, all of which were unforgettable in their own right.
