Sonoma County, California, is located approximately one hour North of San Francisco. Make it a day trip while visiting San Francisco or come spend a few days or more in this beautiful county.  The landscape is diverse with a gorgeous coastline, redwood forests, lovely Russian River resort area, and of course, the wine regions of the Russian River Valley, Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma Valley and more.  The towns of Healdsburg and Sonoma offer high-class lodging and Michelin rated restaurants. Our favorite, though, is the small town of Sebastopol with it's eclectic mix of hippy culture, industrial chic Barlow shopping district, coupled with remnants of a traditional small town farming community.
